不定式一般替代完成体的疑问

Can you believe that he should kill a tiger? 你能相信他竟杀死了一只老虎？

Can you imagine that he should take the first place in the long jump contest? 你能想象得到他在跳远比赛中竟获得了第一名？

【疑问】语法网上看到的这两个句子，请问为什么不用不定式的完成体？在语法书上找了一下，没有找到一般体替代完成体的讲解，请问这个有没有什么限制？

以上二个句子均是错误的。不定式应该改为完成体 should have done形式。因为是已经发生过的事件。

如果不表达“竟然”这种情绪，而是平铺直叙的话，一般过去时足矣：

Can you believe that he killed a tiger?

Can you imagine that he took the first place in the long jump contest?

由于动作事件已经在过去发生，加了情态动词should 后，不定式必须体现已经发生，只有用完成体才可以表示出来。

Can you believe that he should have killed a tiger?

Can you imagine that he should have taken the first place in the long jump contest?

所以，原句错误。
