to do暗示听话人或说话人为不定式的逻辑主语。用to be done则只表示工作需要有人做，谁做并不重要。不能说the work for us to be done。这是逻辑错误。the work (for us）to do.是可以的。

我觉得是暗示，不是说话人要去做，而且其他人做。
