英语不能用 farther more。farther 与 further 的最基本区别就是：当用于表示具体的距离时，两者都可用（但以 farther 为多见），但当用于表示引申义时，我们习惯上是用 further，further more 的意思是“而且”，已不是“具体距离”的意思了，故不能用 further more 来代替。如：

The house isn’t big enough for us, and further more it’s too far from the town. 这房子我们住不够大，而且它离市中心也太远。

The house is too small for a family of four, and further more it is in a bad location. 这房子给四口之家住太小了，而且地点也不好。

另外，further more 还常常合写成一个单词。如：

I am not looking for a job. Furthermore, I am not going to look for a job. 我现在没有找工作，而且我也不打算找工作。
