(1)look 表示打算；准备； 计划 后面可以接不定式

We're not looking to make a fortune.  

我们没打算大赚一笔。

I didn't look to meet you here.
我没想到在这里会遇见你。

I look to be with you soon.
我希望不久能和你在一起。

If you're looking to buy a new car,I suggest you borrow some money from the bank.
你如果计划买一辆新汽车,我就建议你向银行借些钱。

备注：look当系动词使用后面不能接动名词或者不定式，只能接“名词，形容词，过去分词，副词，介词短语，以及as if 引导表语从句”当动词也不能接动名词。

(1)look+名词

He looks an honest man.
看来他像个诚实的人。

He looks a good athlete
他看上去像个优秀运动员。

He's beginning to look his age.
他看上去和他的年龄相称。

(2)look+形容词

He looks anxious.
他看上去很焦急。

They look almost alike.
他们长得几乎一模一样。

You're looking blue, what's the matter?
你看起来挺忧愁,怎么回事?

(3)look+名词

The girl looked puzzled.
女孩显出迷惑不解的样子。

Tom looked rather offended.
看来汤姆相当生气。

He looks a little surprised.
他显得有些吃惊。

(4)look+名词

He looks in excellent health.
他看上去身体十分健康。

(5)look+as if 从句

She looks as if she knew all about the matter.

她像是知道有关此事的一切。

They looked as if they didn't care.
他们看起来好像不在乎。

因此下面句子都是错误的

He looks being very strong.（错误）

He looks to be very strong.（错误）
