sb is/was believed/said/reported/thought/known to do/to be doing/to have done sth.

这个句型中的不定式to do形式不表示谓语时间之后的将来事件，而是表示谓语时间存在的状语或习惯。所以to do形式要么是静态动词，要么是动态动词表示习惯意义，而不是事件意义。例如；He is believed to be a good writer. (静态动词） He is believed to get up at 5 o'clock every morning. (习惯）

该句型用to be doing表示谓语时间正在发生或尚没有结束的事件。例如：He is believed to be writing a new book. (同时的事件）。

该句型用to have done表示谓语时间之前发生过的事件，或从过去持续到谓语时间的状态（需要与持续时间状语连用）。例如：He is believed to have sold his house. (以前的事件） He is believed to have been a doctor for 30 years. (持续到谓语时间的状态）。

该句型通常不用to do形式表示谓语时间之后的将来事件。例如：He is believed to leave tomorrow.(误）

表示将来的事件改用如下句型：

It is believed that he will leave tomorrow.

People/They believe that he will leave tomorrow.
