不管是指事的不定代词，还是指人的不定代词，当它们受到形容词修饰时，通常都要后置。如：

There’s something odd about him. 他有些奇怪。

No, there is nothing special. 不，没有什么特别的东西。

I didn't see anything wrong with her. 我看不出她有什么地方不对。

In the 1930’s everything Japanese was in the dog house. 在30年代，日本的一切东西都不受欢迎。

2. 形容词修饰指人的不定代词——后置

Nobody decent will go there. 正派人不会到那里去的。

Anyone intelligent can do it. 任何有头脑的人都能做这件事。

He tricked me into believing that he was somebody famous. 他骗我相信他是名人。

He stayed at work when everyone else had gone home. 别人都回家了，他还在干活。

Did you meet anybody exciting on your travels? 在你旅行中，遇到过什么人，使你感到激动吗?

I need someone strong to help me move this bookcase. 我需要个力气大的人帮我搬这个书橱。

注：以上用法也包括 anywhere, somewhere, everywhere 等。如：

Let’s go somewhere nice. 咱们去个好玩的地方吧。

We’re going anywhere very exciting. 我们打算去有刺激性的地方。
