in two weeks到底是两周内还是两周后

有人说用于一般现在时表示两周内，用于将来式表示两周后，这样理解对吗？谢谢!

类似 in two weeks 这样的短语，有时含义不易确定，因为它既可表示“两周内”，也可表示“两周后”，大致可以这样区分：若与延续性动词连用，则表示“两周内”，若与非延续性动词连用，则表示“两周后”。如：

He learnt English in two weeks. 他在两周内学会了英语。

The train will arrive in a few minutes. 火车过几分钟就到。

但语言的实际并不完全是这样，有时需视具体的上下文或语境来确定。如：

We should be able to complete the work in five days. 我们应该能在5天内完成这工作。

为了明确语义，有时人们就分别用 within 和 after 来表示“在……内”和“在……后”：

(1)in five minutes 与 in five minutes’ time 这类短语都可表示将来，意思是“从现在起的一段时间之后”。

We’re going away in a few days / in a few days’ time.

我们过几天就要离开了。

Presidential elections are due to be held in ten days / in ten days’ time.

总统竞选将在10天后如期举行。

(2)如果不是表示从现在开始的某一段时间之后，则不能用…s’+time。

The ambulance arrived in ten minutes.

救护车10分钟内就到了。

Chris dismantled the bike in five minutes.

克里斯在五分钟内就把自行车拆开了。

She could change into a different outfit in two minutes.

她能在两分钟内换上一套不同的衣服。

(3)表示在时间之内用within +时间段或者within the limit of +时间段
