真实条件句主从句的时态问题

下面的4道习题要求处理好真实条件句中的动词形式问题：

1. If she promised/ has promised (promise) to be here, she will certainly come.

2. If he said (say) that, he must be a fool.

除了横线上的标准答案，请教老师能否使用promises 和says，表示“任何时候她一旦承诺，她就一定会来”以及“只要他说了，他就是傻子”？

3．If I was out of work, I did (do) some odd jobs.

4. If you spent the night on the train, you probably need (need) a rest.

请教老师，第4可否像第3句的主句动词一样使用一般过去时，表示主从都是发生在过去的动作？

2. If he said (say) that, he must be a fool.

以上二句中的指示副词here和指示代词that意味着这二个句子是事件意义，而不是习惯，因此不能用一般现在时，因为事件并没有在说话时发生。

3．If I was out of work, I did (do) some odd jobs.

该句为习惯意义，故主句可以用did或would do. would可以和动态动词连用表示过去的习惯。

4. If you spent the night on the train, you probably need (need) a rest.

应该理解从句表示昨晚的事件，主句用一般现在是表示现在需要。

如果理解这个句子表示过去的习惯，那么现在这个习惯不存在了吗，现在乘火车就不需要休息了？不大符合逻辑。故应该按照事件意义理解。
