赞同曹老师的解答。rather than“而不是……”，接不定式时，可以带to或不带to。但rather than位于句首时，不定式通常不带 to（也可用动名词）。例如：
I decided to write rather than (to) telephone. 我决定写信，而不是打电话。
Rather than take [taking] the train, he preferred to fly. 他宁愿乘飞机，而不愿坐火车。
▲ rather than连接的并列成分除不定式外还可以是名词、代词、形容词、副词、介词短语、谓语、分句……等等。例如：
The teacher rather than the students is to blame. 应受责备的是老师而不是学生。
He was mad rather than brave. 与其说他勇敢不如说他发疯了。
You bumped me rather than I bumped you. 是你撞了我，而不是我撞了你。
