同意刘老师的说法。be用于现在完成时是很正常也是很普通的用法。分类举例如下（最普通的三类）
have been + 名词（带不定冠词）
She has been a nurse for 20 years. 她当护士已有二十年了。
The children have been a great comfort to me through all of this. 在这件事的整个过程中，孩子们是我很大的安慰。
have been + 名词（带定冠词）
The principal has been the object of much criticism. 校长受到大量批评。
Today has been the happiest day of my life. 今天是我一生中最幸福的日子。
They have been the aggressors in this conflict. 他们一直是这场冲突中的挑衅者。
have been + 名词（带物主代词）
Teaching has been her life. 教书已成为了她的生命。
She has been his ward since her parents died. 她的双亲死后，她就成了他的受监护人。
Vanessa's looks have been her stock-in-trade as an actress. 容貌一直是瓦妮莎做演员的资本。
至于“have been+名词”能否换成“be+名词”——原则上不可以。因为be的现在完成时强调从过去持续到现在或过去情况对现在的影响，而be的一般现在时强调现在的状态，两者在用法上没有交叉之处。当然，这也并不绝对，也有少数结构是可以互换的，比如用于 it is / has been + 时间 + since-从句。如：
It is / has been a long time since our last party. 自我们上次聚会以来已有很长时间了。
It is / has been a year now since they went to London. 他们去伦敦已经一年了。
