▲ 关于will have done 的两种用法。

许多语法书把将来完成时的构成形式，定义为：情态动词will 加动词的完成形式have done，这种说法忽略了时间状语的必要性。事实上，在薄冰的《英语语法》、L·G·亚历山大的《朗文英语语法》等语法著作中，所有关于将来完成时的例句，都是带有表示将来时间状语的。遗憾的是，他们都没有在文中强调时间状语的必要性。然而，有无时间状语或者时间状语的不同，往往会导致will have done 结构产生不同的含义。

1. will have done 是“一般将来完成时”，表示：在将来某一时间前完成的动作，并往往对未来某一时间产生影响，或叙述某事持续到将来某时已经有一段时间了。它常与表将来的时间状语连用。例如：

（1）We will have finished the project by the end of this year.

到今年年底，我们就会完成这项工程了。

（2）Before long, he will have forgotten all about this matter.

不久，他就会把这件事全部忘记的。

（3）We shall have lived here for five years by next March.

到明年3月我们将在此住了5年。

2. will have done 是“情态动词+完成时”，表示对过去发生情况的推测。意为“（过去、此前）也许做了某事；想必做了某事；谅必做了某事”。该用法跟must have done 类似，但肯定的语气不如must have done，不那么确定。例如：

（1）In shops you will have seen cash registers which basically can only add.

你谅必在商店里见过现金收入记录机，它基本上只能做加法运算。

（2）Whatever crazy and outlandish things you claim to have seen on the net, someone else will have seen something even more crazy and outlandish.

无论你在网上看到多么疯狂、奇怪的故事，总会有会人看到更加疯狂、更加奇怪的。

（3）There is great disorder there, as the newspaper will have told you.

那儿情形很混乱，想必你从报上已经了解到了。
