李老师，我在网上搜索了一下，找到了一个：

He must havepassed the exam. He could _____ _____ _____ in the exam

答案为： not have failed

估计是该题印错了.

但即便如此，He  could  not have  failed  in the  exam与He must havepassed the exam同义吗？

我在英语答疑网上找到如下观点：

1. musthave +P. P. 一定已经

2.can/could have + P. P. 可能已经

3.may/might have + P. P. 或许已经

在英语答疑网上找到如下例句：

对过去的推测，必须在 can, could 之后接动词的完成式：

She could not have been more than sixteen. 那时她不可能超过十六岁。

I couldn’t have won, so I didn’t go in for the race. 我不可能获胜，因此我没参赛。

对过去可能发生的情况作推测，其意思大致相当于“可能已经”：

Wecould not have heard them because of the noise from the river. 由于有河水声我们不能听见他们的话。

我的看法：

（1）not have failed= have passed

那么：He  could  not have  failed  in the  exam=He  could have  passed  in the  exam.

因此我认为：

He  could  not have  failed  in the  exam与He musthave passed the exam不同义，前者是可能已经，后者是一定已经。

（2）could  not  have翻译为不可能，是对musthave的否定形式。 He  could  not have  failed  in the  exam与He musthave passed the exam同义。

这两种想法，哪种正确呢？请李老师指教。
