名词作前置定语，为形容用法，故尽管是复数意义也只用单数形式。例如，一本200页的书，a 200 page book. 而不是a 200 pages book.

当介词+名词作后置定语时，名词为复数则必须用复数形式。例如：a book of 200 pages.
