We had survived the Nazi horror and its mindless suppression of the human spirit.

参考译文：我们在纳粹的恐怖和对人类的镇压中辛存下来。

survive是这么用的吗？后面怎么没介词，好像后半部分是survive的宾语。

有时候，“survive + （表示灾难的）名词” 和 “survive from + （表示灾难的）名词”，用法相等。
