含有hotel（宾馆）的专有名词是否要带定冠词
含有hotel（宾馆、酒店、饭店）的专有名词好像通常要带定冠词，如：
the Grand Hotel 大饭店
the Happiness Hotel 幸福宾馆
the Friendship Hotel 友谊宾馆
the Palace Hotel 皇宫酒店
但我发现，这个专有名词的特点是，它们都是由普通名词构成的专有名词。如果 hotel 前的名词是专有名词呢？其前用不用定冠词呢？比如北京饭店、湖南宾馆、江西饭店等。

▲含有 hotel（宾馆、酒店、饭店）的专有名词，不管 hotel 前是普通名词还是专有名词，其前通常都要带定冠词。如：
The reception will be at the Anchor Hotel. 招待会将在安克尔饭店举行。
Bruce graduated to chef at the Bear Hotel. 布鲁斯晋升为大熊饭店的厨师长。
his secretary had booked him into the Howard Hotel.他的秘书在霍华德饭店替他预订了一间房。
The wedding reception will be held in the Swan Hotel’s function room.婚宴将在天鹅大酒店的宴会厅举行。
If you are extremely rich, you could stay nowhere better than the Ruislip Court Hotel.如果你非常有钱，那就住赖斯利普宫廷酒店吧，没有比它更好的地方了。

由普通名词构成的建筑物的专有名词前常要加定冠词。如：
the Great Hall of the People人民大会堂;
the Monument to the People’s Heroes人民英雄纪念碑;
the Great Wall长城;
the Capital Theatre首都剧院;
the Space Museum太空博物馆;
the Peace Hotel和平旅馆；
……
补充：
专有名词与宾馆或饭店搭配时，常不用冠词，但间或也有人加冠词。如：
How can I get to Beijing Hotel? 到北京饭店我怎么走？
The girl is a receptionist of the Beijing Hotel. 这个女孩是北京饭店的前台接待员.《简明英汉词典》
这个问题我与刘老师有不同的说法，这里也提一点，供参考：
我同意刘老师引用的张道真的“Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Brooks Hotel 前不加 the”。
另外，在王冠三所著的《英语冠词用法问题问答》（商务印书馆1980年12月1版P.33）中有这样一段解释：
(1)以人名、地名等专有名词命名的建筑物、场所、学校等等名称，前面不加冠词。
Tian An Men Square天安门广场；
Zhongshan Park中山公园；
London Bridge伦敦桥；
Beijing University北京大学；
......
(2)以普通名词命名的建筑物、场所、学校等等名称，前面用定冠词。
the Palace Museum故宫博物院；
the Water Park水上公园；
the White House白宫；
the Red Square红场；
......
