I enjoyed myself at the party.
We had a good time at the party.
There was any amount of food and drink at the party.
She spoke for forty minutes at the conference.
Only the nearest relatives were present at the funeral.
I saw many people at the dance.
He persuaded her into going to the party.
Everyone brought their partner to the party.
I’ve asked David to come to the party.
介词 at, 着重表达“出席,在场”之意,如:at the meeting, at the party, at the concert, at the lecture等。
此外,这些名词一般跟attend(出席)连用。例如:attend the meeting, attend the party, attend the concert, attend the lecture。
介词 in,往往表示“参入其中,成为一份子”,例如:in the activity, in the match, in the game, in the competition, in the race。
例如:take part in the activity, take part in the match, take part in the game, take part in the competition, take part in the race。

used for stating what someone is doing
a.
used for saying that someone is doing something or taking part in an activity somewhere
at a party/concert/meeting etc:
We were at a party last night when you called.
at school/college etc (=studying at an educational institution):
Has Karen graduated, or is she still at college?
He is at a meeting=He is attending a meeting.
She is at college=She is studying at a colldge.
