冠词的选择(涉及 a height of 与 the height of)

请问老师，是不是有形容词修饰 height 和 main road，所以两个都选 the。

网友这个题干，漏掉了介词to，因为rise 是不及物动词，不可直接跟宾语。rise to 表示 “上升到什么位置” 之意。

【翻译】在洪水期间，河水涨到跟旁边的公路一样高的位置。
