▲介词 on 有个用法是：表示为某团体或某组织的成员。如：
on the committee 在委员会
on the jury 在陪审团
on the panel 在评判小组
所以你的句子用 on 属正常用法，没什么奇怪的。另举例如下：
She’s on the management committee. 她是管理委员会成员。
I'm on the finance committee. 我在财政委员会供职。
Both of them are on the Executive Committee. 他俩都是执行委员会委员。
