英语话剧剧本中，角色之间的对话有时候会省略主语，或采用不完整句型。这样做仅仅是因为是口语，非正式书面语比较随意？谢谢专家老师们解答。

例如：

A： One time, see, my brother wanted to buy this guitar. Been saving money for it for a long time. Then he got a job at this fast-food place, OK? Waiting tables.

（省略主语He即my brother） 

【答】口语的特点就是为了简练，没有别的意思。前提是：不能让句子产生歧义。

第1句很完整。One time = Once（曾经；有一次）；  see 是插入语，引起听者注意。

第2句省略了He has，主语和助动词has 全省去了，但不影响理解。

waiting tables：习语。“侍应生”。

B：At any rate, Dan’s a nice guy. Never knew him well. Found we have a lot of the same interests. Our families, our community, global peace, human welfare.

[省略主语I(说话人B)] 

【答】At any rate, Dan’s a nice guy. 很完整。At any rate：无论如何。

(I) Never knew him well.

(I) Found we have a lot of the same interests.

以上两句省略主语 "I"，这在口语中很常见。

Our families, our community, global peace, human welfare：是interests 的同位语，说明“兴趣”的内容和范围。
