这篇小作文如果出自一个中学生之手，则除了个别部分需要改进外，可以说是不错的。但若是一个大学生写的，则结构过于简单，应适当使用并列或从属手段，将有关联的单句合并为复合句，使短文的句式有所变化，避免单调的简单句。

修改示例：

Life in the future will be much better than it is today. There will be more tall buildings and most families will live in a big apartment. There will be a robot in each home. The robot will help （to）do the housework, so that people have more time for variousactivities. 

Students won’t have to go to school since they can study on computers at home.

1 第一句为本文的主题句，已经提示这是你的看法。第二句的I think为多余，应删去。

2 most of the families改为most families. 因为the families的特指指代不明。应改为泛指。

3 and改为so that, 突出因果关系。去掉us和we，用第三人称口吻表现，避免we和they的人称代词混用。

4 more time to relax改为more time for various activities，表意更加清楚。

5 The students改为泛指Students

6 won't go to school改为won't have to go to school。

7 最后一句改为since引导的原因状语从句，加强句间联系。

8 on computers为方式状语，at home为地点状语。通常方式状语应在地点状语之前。

9 以上是从语法和表达的角度的修改。从作文内容角度讲，既然说的是未来的生活，则应包括生活的衣食住行，如果加几句话说明未来的交通、食品等，则内容上就完善了。
