1) 我认为会用到有关vital的短语即： be vital to 和be vital for. 请问这两个短语有何区别？我查到的资料是 "be vital to" refers to something indispensable while "be vital for" implies that the subject is very important. 请问老师，这个信息是否正确？

我倒是觉得，红色部分的题目要求，里面有几个差错：

1. Rewrite sentence：错误。应在sentence 之前加定冠词或者指示代词this，意思是：“改写这个句子”。可数的普通名词在单数状态下，是不能缺少冠词的，这里需要特指。

2. keeping the same meaning：这句话不恰当，keeping the same meaning 是什么意思？不知所云。应改为：without changing the meaning。

红色题目应改为：

Rewrite the sentence with the word in brackets, without changing the meaning.

在be vital 后面用to 和用for，意思几乎相同，请看来自权威词典的例句：

我刚才问了一个外教，他自己都说不出to 和for 的区别来，只是说用to 的时候多一些。连老外自己都分不清的问题，我们中国学生有必要花费气力去分清吗？你尽管放心，没有人会设计考查填to 还是for 的题目。
