2. turn out 是“系动词”，是一个固定词组，不宜细分。意为“最终是；结果是”，后接名词或形容词，作表语。

3. 不定式to be 可以省略，意思保持不变。= It turned out some huge fish.

turn out 等系动词后也可接不定式 (尤其是 to be) 短语作表语，to be 可以省略。例如：

The boy seemed (to be) ill. 这个男孩好像病了。

The plan proved (to be) useful. 这个计划证明是有用的。
