often有两个意义：

1 on many occasions, or in many situations. 经常，常常。

Often, students with family problems have difficulties at school.

I’ve found that it’s quite often impossible to park in town.

2 used for talking about how many times something happens in a particular period of time.某一特定时期某件事发生的次数。

I’ve been swimming twice as often as I did last year.

He travels more often than I do.
