汉语可以说“安排某人做某事”,但是根据英语惯用法,不能说arrange sb to do sth,应该说“arrange for sb./sth. to do sth.”
They arranged for Mary to come at once. ( 摘自 A Comprehensive Grammar of The English Language by Randolph Quirk et al, 1985)他们安排玛丽立刻来。
I arranged that we would meet them at the station.(摘自 Longman Dictionary of American English)我安排好我们在火车站跟他们见面。
