1 He wrote a report for two hours. （误）

【改正】He has been writing a report for two hours.

【原因】write表示的动作，既可以延续，也可以不延续。在一般过去时或现在完成时的情况下，wrote 和have written 都表示“完成，写完”，动作结束，不再延续。所以，不可跟时间段for two hours 连用。write 的进行体可以表延续，但由于句中含有for two hours，故只能用完成 + 进行体。

以下表达都是错的：

* He wrote a report for two hours.

* He has written a report for two hours.

* He is writing a report for two hours.

* He was writing a report for two hours.

2 They saw him to be an imposter.（误）

他们认为他是一个骗子。

【改正】：They saw him as an imposter.

【原因】：see 表示“认为”概念时，其宾语补足语，不能由不定式充当，应改为介词短语as an imposter， as 表示“作为”意义。又如：

I see the job as a challenge.（来自朗文词典）

3 He spent two years living in Beijing.（正）

语法没错。本句等于：He lived in Beijing for two years.

4 Tom is the one who I gave some advice.

5 He is not the man who he used to be. （误）

【改正】He is not the man that he used to be. 或He is not the man he used to be.

【原因】关系代词在从句中作表语时，无论指物或指人，原则上使用that，不用which 或who，且that 可以省略。

6 He seems in the bedroom.（误）

【改正】He seems to be in the bedroom. 或He seems to be staying in the bedroom.

【原因】seem 有时可以直接跟介词短语，但这类介词短语是有限制的：表示人的情绪或抽象意义的介词短语，这种用法视为在seem 之后省略了to be。但是，如果是具体意义的地点，则要说seem to be ...。

又如：

The young woman wore a fine bunch of violets and seemed in high spirits.

【改正】He considered what he needed was a complete rest.

【原因】：此句语法正确，逻辑错误。consider接复合宾语，表示“认为某事怎么样；把某事看成是”，是对某事的一种评价或看法。He considered what he needed complete rest.实际等于He considered what he needed as a complete rest. 语义不通。

而consider + 宾语从句：宾语从句为系表结构时，表示一种事实。

例如：

He considers what I want is a good personal computer.

他认为，我要的是一台质量好的个人电脑。

They consider what I want to know is when the meeting will begin.

他们认为，我想知道的是会议何时开。

以上两句，consider都是接宾语从句，如果改为复合宾语的话，句意就有问题。
