关于trouble可数与不可数

I had a lot of trouble with him.

I had a lot of troubles with him.

请问这句话 trouble 到底要不要加s, 为什么？

have trouble with sb/sth

have trouble doing sth

make/cause trouble for sb/sth

cause sb/sth trouble

以上结构都属于trouble一词的习惯搭配用法，这时的trouble均为不可数名词（抽象名词），不可以用复数形式。即使trouble前用a lot of修饰也一样。

I have a lot of trouble with English language.

当trouble意为具体的problems，worries和difficulties时，可以用复数形式。

You can tell me your troubles.

The company has had serious financial troubles recently.
