学英语不能教条了。其实，3个地点介词in, at, on是最常用的。根据语义要求，arrive都可以与之搭配，并非“大的地方用in，小的地方用at”，这是很粗糙的理解，也许是中国的英语老师，为了记忆方便教给学生的“规则”吧。看来，这个规则不是很准确的。

通过以上例句，你可以体会出：on 重在表示“来到特别小的地方、位置和物体上面，以及到达者与某物的表面接触。”
