本题答案是A。但问题不在这里，我的疑问是，这里的Albert’s birthday is on next Saturday 为什么要用介词 on 呢？这不是多余的吗？

这个 on 你说它多余，就多余吧，因为仅从语法上看，这个 on 是可有可无的。
