汉语中的“清洁工”，说成英语可以是 a cleaning man 和 a cleaning woman。如：

Cleaning women in big cities usually get paid by the hour. 大都市里的清洁女工通常是按时计酬的。(1998高考英语全国卷)

当然也可以是 cleaner。如：

I used to work as a cleaner in a hospital. 我过去在医院里做清洁工。
