表语动词使用什么样的形式

请问老师，是不是主语中有do的什么形式，表语动词就要用相应的形式表达。如主语中有doing，表语就要用-ing形式；主语中有do,表语就要用to do形式。谢谢回答。（上文中的doing不是谓语，那表语也要用trying吗？）
