英语中似乎没有这个规则。反而使用of 所有格比较普通：

Beijing is the capital of China.  北京是中国的首都。

October first is the National Day of China. 十月一日是中国的国庆节。

The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. 英国女王住在白金汉宫。

She went to live in the south of England.  她到英国南部地区去居住了。
