数词和other都是后位限定词。后位限定词不像前位和中位限定词那样互相排斥，而是可以同时用于一个名词之前，只要逻辑上不矛盾即可。如果有两个或以上后位限定词同时出现，离名词近的是被突出的。five other cars突出不同，用于先前提到了某个品牌的车如三辆奔驰车在他的前方，后面还有5辆奔驰以外的车。other five cars,突出数量，不强调是否相同的车，如two cars were in front of him, other five cars were behind him, and still other three cars were on his left. 如果先前提到5辆车如何如何，另有5辆在他身后，要说another five cars.
