请问这里的时态用的对吗?另外,UK前有加定冠词the,也有不加的,它们之间有什么区别?
过去完成时用得不好。关键是你受了that was actually what you had done.这句的影响。如果这句改成And you actually did so. 然后你以后全用一般过去时。听话人会按照你的叙述顺序来构成一幅画面。当你用了that was what you had done,你的时间跳跃到了你结束英国之旅,再回头叙述之前的事情,你就用了过去完成时。这种思维的跳跃是没必要的。关键会给人感觉过去完成时态的动作似乎在一般过去时之前。因此这封信的时态使用不够好。that was really是罪魁祸首。改掉这部分,时态使用就舒服自然多了。
