W: Well, as long as it’s to me, I’ve got to have my own room, because I’ve been working at home most of the time, any other information?

M: Yes, it’s got a very big and well equipped kitchen, and I know you like cooking. So that’s another point in its favor, but there is a small sitting room, and not much furniture yet. So let me know quickly if you want it or it will be taken.

理解这里的 as long as it’s not to me 要注意联系前文的 The problem is, it’s only got two bedrooms, but I expect two of you could share（问题是它只有两间卧室，我希望你们中有两个人可以合住一间）以及下文的 I’ve got to have my own room, because I’ve been working at home most of the time（我必须要有我自己的房间，因为我大部分时间都在家工作）——据此可知，对话中的女子不希望与人合住一房，所以她希望“两人合住一房”这一情况不要发生在自己身上，所以这里的 as long as it’s not to me 可以理解为“只要不是针对我就行”。

其实，这里的 to 不用也行，即as long as it’s not me（只要不是我就行；即只要不是我去合住就行）。手头没有这个对话的录音，手头有录音的朋友可以去仔细听一下，看看原文中有没有这个 to。
