live to regret it句子结构（能否理解为双谓语结构）
2015年新课标1卷的原题：
If we fail to do it，we will live to regret it.
之前看过老师们的解答，我有些自己的想法，这里的 live 是不及物动词，能否理解为双谓语结构？
to regret 也是主语发起的动作，而且去掉 to regret it 以后 live 保持原意不变，不过双谓语结构一般是不及物动词+形容词/分词/名词/what从句，没有见过加不定式的。

语法学家（如张道真）给双谓语的定义大致是：一个不及物动词后面跟一个形容词或名词，作用接近表语，说明主语的状态或特征。从这个意义上说，它们也是一种复合谓语或叫双谓语。

三、对live的理解和翻译

她知道自己终生会后悔作出这个决定。
她知道自己对作出这个决定会后悔一辈子。
她知道自己会希望不曾作出这个决定。
她知道自己但愿没有作出这个决定。
最后，网友问这个句子中的regret为何没有翻译出来呢？“后悔”跟“希望不曾”或“但愿没有”，意思十分接近，这属于翻译变通。
