关于比较级more than的用法对于初学者来说应该是一个很头疼的用法，我问了我的老师，而我的老师对我的问题也解决不清楚他只告诉我了记住就行了，但我觉得学习要知其原因，为此我特意查阅了柯林斯和朗文双解词库比较more词条的用法，（再次说明很感谢刘老师对于as用法的详细解答，同时也希望这次刘老师也进行解答，感谢您！）步入正题说一下我的困惑：

more这个词组成了许许多多的词组，如：

1. 当more是副词词性时：

As the disease worsened, he found walking more and more difficult.（可以看出是修饰difficult）

2. 当more是限定词词性时：

More and more people are moving to the cities. 越来越多的人在往城市搬迁。（可以看出是修饰people）

more people 更多的人

He spent more time perfecting his dance moves instead of gym work.

【疑惑】那我们是不是可以得出一个结论看词组的中心词是副词那么就是副词短语，是限定词就是限定词短语呢？如果不是分别是什么词组呢，如错误请指出。

还有一点，是不是短语后面加什么要看中心词的词性如副词词组more than 后面虽然加了名词也是因为more是副词的缘故，而不是than是介词或什么的缘故。

前面的more 为副词much比较级别，修饰谓语动词care for ,a lot 修饰比较级more表示程度加深，后面比较状语从句谓语does,代替前面动词cares for 

She likes English much more than she does maths.

她喜欢英语要远远超过喜欢数学。

回答如下：

相当形容词短语作后置定语修饰前面名词manner,或者说是形容词短语作状语，对前面名词起进一步补充说明。

【疑惑】第二个例句中的More than ,是可以拆分的吧，在句中是一种什么结构呢？按理说这里的more是一个单独的词而不是和后面的than组成了结构啊？

就是; 正是:

以上句子解析：no more than 后面缺少一个名词，因为，定语从句you deserve 前没有先行词,如果用only替换，就是It is only you deserve，显然这个句子不符合语法原则，是不正确句子。you deserve 为一个主语+谓语结构

埃林娜觉得照顾丈夫就是她的责任。

【疑惑】我觉得这是一个很怪的现象，字典里给的其它例句关于no more than的than后面都是加名词短语，而偏偏第一个又是you desrve加了个句子，让然很困惑什么时候难道这里的than有两种词性，用法？

那到底是结构呢，还是短语呢，这里的more是det词性应该是个限定词短语啊，求老师详细说明下。

【疑惑】词典里说这里的More是限定词，那么这里两个的例句中的MoreThan 是都可以看成限定词词组么？如果是，根据柯林斯词典中：

【疑惑】词典就是这样给的我觉的这样是错的难道这里把more than当做一个短语了么？我觉得这里的more是修饰动词的是凑巧和than连在一起的，不知道老师怎么看，同时我也觉得这是我们学生的一大困惑，看不出什么时候和谁搭配。不知道老师有什么高招。

疑惑：同样是一个短语，第一个than后面是个句子，而第二三个是个名词，不是很理解这个than的词性是随时变得，依据是什么，我们又从哪里得知它的变化呢，more含than 的词组这么多，是不是每一个都可以这样有两种词性?

第二个more后面加了adj而than后面却加了个介词词组，第三个more后面加了介词词组，than后面却加了名词，完全不理解这里面的用法。

▲关于more of 朗文词典说be more of sth than sth 是不是而是讲，而到了柯林斯词典却给出了这样的例句：The exhibition at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts is more a production than it is a museum display...波士顿美术博物馆的展览与其说是一次博物馆展出，倒不如说是一场精心设计的展演活动。

不是than sth么怎么又变成了连词呢？

还有more of后面中的more到底什么词性呢，是代词限定词，还是像柯林斯又把它归结成了限定词又说了他是数词？好疑惑？

我想问的是这里面的some more of, two more, many more，都是一样的用法么为什么柯林斯出这里的more是形容词，而朗文说是限定词不是不定代词像something这样的才可以把形容词放在后面吗，而且第一个some more后面还有个of感觉很奇怪啊，老师您能说一下为什么么？
