要表示“是否……”，or not 通常要与whether 连用。如：

Nadine was undecided whether or not to go to college. 娜丁尚未决定是否去上大学。

老师说，如果 or not 不是直接与 whether 用在一起，也可以用 if…or not 的形式。如：
