当以-able, -ible 结尾的形容词充当名词的定语时，如果该名词还受另一个最高级形容词或 only 修饰，则以 -able, -ible 结尾的形容词既可以前置，也可以后置。例如：the best possible accomodation = the best accomodation possible 可能得到的最好的设备/ the hardest possible condition = the hardest condition possible 可能的最艰难的条件/ the best available doctor = the best doctor available 能找到的最好的医生 / the greatest imaginable dificulty = the greatest difficulty imaginable 所能想象出来的最大的困难/ the only suitable person = the only person suitable 唯一合适的人 (摘自：赵振才编著《英语常见问题解答大词典》)

    在你的问题中，the most fitting entrance possible to ...= the most fitting possible entrance to ...(可能通向......的最合适的入口)， the most fitting （形容词最高级）和 possible 都是 entrance 的定语，所以不能把 possible 改为 possibly。介词 to 与 entrance 搭配: the entrance to ... 的意思是“通向......的入口”。
