committee前面用介词on与in的问题

英语一般是说on the committee，但可以说in the committee吗？比如下面的句子：
My brother is on the committee. 我哥哥是委员会成员。
What is your role on the committee? 你在委员会担任什么工作?
I talked to some of the people on the committee. 我在委员会会议上跟几位委员谈了话。
It’s important that students have a voice on the committee. 学生在委员中有一名代言人很重要。
这些句子中的on the committee可以换成in the committee吗？

英语通常是用on the committee，很少用in the committee。另外，in the committee有时含有“在委员会内部”的意思。如：

There was a split in the committee. 委员会内部出现了分裂。（《英语常用词用法·详解大词典》席玉虎）

There is strong opposition in the committee to dropping this project. 委员会内部强烈反对放弃这个项目。（《现代英语用法词典》张道真)

我的看法是，上面各句中最好用 on the committee，不用 in the committee。

视情况而定:

1 My brother is on the committee. 这里on表示 included in a group,很少用 in;

2 What is your role on the committee? 这里可以用in;

3 视作搭配吧。
