在席玉虎主编的《英语常用词用法详解大词典》第1957页有这样一个例句：

He will make you a good interpreter. 他可以给你当一个好翻译。

所以，He will make the children a good teacher.的意思是：他可以给孩子们当一个号老师。

因此，不用复数 good teachers。
