in front of the mouth的用法
在...put your finger in front of the mouth 一句中，in front of 可否用 on 代替，或者用 before 代替？谢谢解答！

我的感觉是可以用介词 in front of，也可以用 before，但不宜用 on。
因为介词 in front of 和 before 均可表示“位置”（在……前面），而此处正是指“位置”，故可用两者。另一方面，这里之所以不宜用 on，主要是因为人们站着的时候，只能把手指放在嘴巴的“前面”，而无法放在嘴巴的“上面”，除非这个人是仰卧着的。不信，大家可以试试看！
另外，同意 cgsbzdwy 的建议，在 put your finger in front of the mouth 中，最好将 the mouth 改为 your mouth。
