Please除用于祈使句外，完全可用于主语是第一人称的陈述句。如以下各句均摘自《朗文英语语法》：

I want much less please. 请不要给我那么多。

I’d like to have a sandwich please. 我想要一块三明治。

I’d like some information please. 请告诉我一些情况吧。

I’d like a little time to think about it please. 请给我一点时间将它考虑一下。

另外，还请注意please 在以下省略句中的用法：

One beer, please. 请来一杯啤酒。

Two teas and four coffees, please. 请来两杯茶和四杯咖啡。

A: How would you like your money? 你要票额多少的钱?

B: In fives please. 请给我5元一张的吧。

A: How many more stamps do you want? 你还要多少张邮票?
