有这样一个句子：
Depend on it: he will lend you the money you need.

Depend on it 可以放在句子开头或末尾或句中，后面也可以接从句，它的意思是“请相信”、“没问题”、“请放心”。例如，张道真主编《现代英语用法词典》修订版中的例句：
Depend upon it, we shall win the war.
Depend upon it, he'll let you down one of these days, although you place such trust in him.
This will ruin the country, depend upon it.
You can depend upon it. I shall be there.
He may depend upon it that we shall never surrender.
You may depend upon it that all the goods will be delivered in time.

1. Depend upon (on) it 的组合，视为一个固定词组。
2. 词性为<副词>——无疑地、的确。
3.用于句首或句尾，【口语】。
