▲基本同意Beachy老师的观点，但有一点小补充：ignore 后接直接what 从句属正常用法，因为 what 从句跟 sth 的性质是一样的，但直接跟 that 从句的用法比较少见，更多是在 ignore 后先接 the fact 作宾语，然后再在其后接 that 引导的同位语从句，换句话说，ignore 后通常接 the fact that… 作宾语。如：
I could no longer ignore the fact that he was deeply unhappy. 我再不能对他深感不快这个事实不闻不问了。
Did you think I’d ignore the fact that you were suffering from shock? 你受了惊吓，你以为我会置之不理吗？
I could no longer ignore the fact that he was deeply unhappy.  我再不能对他深感不快这个事实不闻不问了。
We cannot afford to ignore the fact that the world’s population is increasing rapidly.  我们不能忽视世界人口正在快速增长的现实。
▲ignore 有时可后接动名词作宾语，但动名词前通常会带有逻辑主语：
You’ll have to ignore their talking so loud. 他们说话声音很大，你不要理会便是。
