join the expedition 是常见固定搭配,似乎没有见过join in the expedition. 如 join the army。 比如,join the army,不说join in the army.

a regular English major 1. An English Major with a Creative Writing Concentration normally takes 12 courses, while a regular English Major only takes ten courses. 2. Chinese is not a regular major at Carleton, it is available only as a Special Major, through a petition to the Academic Standing Committee.3. The English major at Boston College offers a wide range of curricular choices while it helps you to develop fundamental skills in close reading, literary analysis, and critical thinking.

(回复曾老师)我又查了一下,找到了这位网友问题句的出处,这是麦克米伦字典里junior 词条的例句,如下:[countable] a young person who is involved in a particular activity, especially sport. He was one of 73 juniors invited to compete for a place in the England team.

Danlu Li  been awarded a Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) scholarship for the 2016–2017 academic year, one of ten students to receive the honor this year.   http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/2016/09/19157/The Bakersfield Police department confirms one of three victims of Monday night's shooting in central Bakersfield has died. When we found out that our proposal was one of only five that had been accepted, it felt like God had stepped in to help us start our business.
