状语。去掉宾补句子会变得不完整，说不通，比如You make me happy. 去掉宾补happy变成You make me. 整个句子就说不通了，很明显缺失成分。而这个句子即使你去掉into different languages变成I translated the book. 句子结构依然完整。所以这儿是介词短语作状语。
