1. 词义理解
confused有层意思：
(1) 用于指人：英英词典的解释是
unable to understand or think clearly（迷惑的；糊涂的），指人感到迷惑、不解、糊涂等。如：
I’m
thoroughly confused. 我完全给搞糊涂了。
Never
had she been so confused. 她从未如此困惑。
At
first, I was a bit confused. 起初，我有点儿迷惑。
The
more he talked, the more I got confused. 他讲得越多我越糊涂。
My
mother has become very forgetful and confused. 我母亲已变得很健忘很糊涂了。

(2) 用于指事物：与一般的-ed形容词通常不用于形容事物不一样，confused
可用于修饰事物。英英词典对confused的解释是difficult
to understand: not clearly organized, expressed, etc (不清楚的；混乱的；难懂的)，与
confusing 的用法比较接相似，但用于此义的confused侧重指因杂乱无章的、表达不清（强调“乱”）等而变得难懂或不好理解。如：
The
situation is still fairly confused. 局势还是相当混乱。（麦克米伦高级英语词典）
He
gave a confused speech denying the accusations. 他胡乱说了一通，否认指控。（韦氏高级英语词典）
3. 介词搭配
(1) 后接about：用于表示“对……感到糊涂”。如：
I'm
confused about which one to choose. 我糊涂了，不知道该选娜个。
We're
confused about what to do next. 我们不知道下一步该做什么。
I'm
still confused about what happened. 对于发生了什么事，我依然一头雾水。

(2) 后接by：表示“因……而感到困惑”。如：

3. 后接不定式
confused后接动词时，要用不定式。如：
I
was confused to learn of his latest decision. 得知他的最新决定，我感到很困惑。
