Legend has it that a monster lives in the mountains.

Legend has it that...
不可直接说:Legend has that...,这时,需要加一个形式宾语it,然后再跟that从句。又如:
Rumour has it that we'll have a new manager soon.
Rumor has it that the factory burned down.
Legend has it that the fairy princess fall in love with a pauper.
Legend has it that a monster lives in the mountains.
Report has it that you are married.
Tradition has it that Bridge of Allan copper was used in the first coinage of halfpennies.
Online gossip has it that it’s an airbrushed hip.
He will have it that he knows best.
They will have it that they are right.
He will have it that you are wrong.
He will probably have it that our plan is impracticable.
The newspapers have it that some Japanese firms have gone bankrupt.
Shakespeare has it that all the world is a stage.
