为什么hope sb. to do / be 的用法是错误的？

句意：她妈妈希望她将来能成为一名舞者。【详解】考查宾语从句。句子谓语动词hopes“希望”后接从句或动词不定式作宾语，但没有hope sb. to do sth.的结构，故排除选项A；本句话为省略引导词that的宾语从句，从句主语为“她”，用主格she，排除选项B；D项中to be为非谓语，此处应使用谓语can be，故选C。

以上内容摘自网上的一份辅导资料。有些老师和学生认为A．her to也是正确的。他们的根据是他们曾经看到过这样一道全国高考英语试题：My father _____ me to become a dancer.

标准答案是 C. hopes

实际上，上面的高考试题是错误的，因为英语中没有hope sb. to do / be 这种句型。

《朗文高级英语应试词典》(英汉双解版p.1134)认为不能说 hope sb to do sth ，应该说  hope (that) sb. will do sth ：I hope you will find this information useful. 我希望你觉得这个信息有用。

动词hope 后面可以直接跟动词不定式或者由that引导的的宾语从句作宾语，that 也可以省略。如果主句的主语也是宾语从句的主语，则hope 后面可以直接跟动词不定式或者由that引导的的宾语从句作宾语；如果主句的主语不是宾语从句的主语，则hope 后面只能接由that引导的的宾语从句作宾语，不能使用“hope sb. to do sth”结构。例如：

We hope that we shall visit your country again. (= We hope to visit your country again.)我们希望能再次访问你们的国家。（摘自《薄冰英语惯用法词典》p.389）

She hopes she isn’t boring you by talking about her children. (= She hopes not to be boring you by talking about her children. ) 她希望谈论她的孩子不会使你感到厌烦。（同上）

We all hope (that) things will be better soon. = We’re all hoping (that) things will be better soon. 我们都希望事情能迅速好转。（同上）

I hope (that) she remembers. 我希望她记得。（同上）

I hope you’re feeling better soon. 我希望你能赶快好起来。（同上）
